DESCRIPTION:Some rides have destinations.This one has intent. \n\n\nWhere the Map Fades is a two-day motorcycle journey designed around distance\, flow\, and the kind of roads you don’t rush. The route is deliberate\, the stops are earned\, and the experience is about trusting the ride and the people beside you. \n\n\nWe roll out together from Ampol Foodary Robina and finish deep in the hills on Sunday afternoon at the Beechmont Hotel — everything in between is why we ride. \n\n RIDE ITINERARY\n DAY 1 – SaturdayAmpol Foodary Robina → South Grafton\n• Early meet-up and departure• Long flowing sections to settle into the ride• Southbound run toward the coast before turning inland• A full rainforest and elevation experience via Waterfall Way• Stop through Dorrigo for fuel\, food\, photos and reset• Afternoon roll into South Grafton\n\n Overnight: South Grafton\nGood food\, solid rest\, and stories that only come from a proper first day. We will be using our own judgements on where to stay\, but a campground feel and vibe is the ongoing thought process. We will have a support vehicle on this trip that can take your camp gear along. A small “pitch in for fuel” fee will apply\n\n DAY 2 – SundaySouth Grafton → Advancetown\n• Morning departure and inland push• Country roads through Casino• A technical and scenic climb via Mount Burrell• Final descent into the hills• Ride concludes in Advancetown at The Beechmont Hotel\nCold drinks. Good meals. That quiet satisfaction of finishing strong \n\n WHAT TO EXPECT\n Real kilometres A mix of highway flow\, rainforest roads\, and hinterland twisties Planned pacing — not rushed\, not sloppy A ride that rewards commitment\n\n START: Robina FINISH: Advancetown WHEN: Final weekend of April 2026\n\nRide smart. Ride together.When the map fades — the ride begins.\n\n RIDER REQUIREMENTS\n• Fully licensed riders but learners will be welcome• Roadworthy motorcycles• Full protective riding gear advised\, but riders are at own risk• Ride your own ride — no pressure\, no ego\n\n FUEL & STOPS\n• Fuel stops are planned\, but riders are responsible for their own range• Do not skip fuel opportunities• Hydration and rest are essential — especially through rainforest sections\n\n GROUP RIDING NOTES\n• Staggered formation where appropriate• No unsafe overtaking within the group• Observe road rules at all times• If a rider stops\, notify lead or sweep\n\n CONDITIONS\n• Weather can change quickly• Wildlife is common early morning and late afternoon• This is not a race — completion matters more than pace\n\nThe goal is simple:Everyone arrives safely\, smiling\, and ready to do it again.
